The ET spoke is as close to the old TT or TT-II as I've seen, if they are the dark cast centers. These are 8.5"x15" ET on my car: 1971BB427, Mar 9, 2014.

The original TT-D was designed for one specific car; the then-new Corvette with 4-wheel discs. Yeah there are differences, but to me the new ones are a better bang for the buck. 15X7's are $104 apiece from Summit. You'd be hard pressed to find original 15 X7's in decent shape for much less than $200 apiece around here.

网页2019年7月22日 · Old Torque Thrust on the front were 14" X 6" w/ 2 3/4" back spacing, with mustang 2 rotor and caliper, I purchased a kit with larger dia rotor and GM metric calipers at a show special, was told it will fit, not a chance with wheels I had so I did not use, So IMO you are limited by wheel dia. and caliper size.

Also, original Torq Thrust (non-D aka disk brake) have straight spokes, the D spokes are curved. So, called him and he's not sure they have American Racing cast into the back.

So as I consider changing the wheel/tire combination on my 30 pickup I've been looking at ads on Craigslist and facebook marketplace, ebay, etc, and the ads for old used Torque Thrust wheels run anywhere from $175 to $200 each for common sizes with a Chevy bolt pattern. Brand new TT's run about $50 less than that.

网页2011年2月15日 · They are aluminum or magnesium. Both age well if left alone. If you must paint they actually make mag wheel paint that looks just like the wheels looked back in the '60s. It was 7 dollars a can when I last bought some probably up to about 11 dollars now. Called Mag Gray or something like that.
