LAS VEGAS – Kon Knueppel and KJ Simpson tallied 19 points each to lead the Charlotte Hornets to a 106-81 win over the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Thomas and Mack Center on Thursday evening.

The Charlotte Hornets have qualified for the four-team playoff tournament at the NBA 2K26 Summer League with a perfect 4-0 record, and will play Oklahoma City in the semifinals on Saturday.

All eyes will be on Kon Knueppel. He's remained on the floor despite other top rookies sitting out. The 2025 No. 4 pick has averaged 13.3 points on 41.9% shooting, 5.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists in three Vegas Summer League games. Let's see if the Thunder can slow him down.
