Speaking with Steven Muehlhausen for The Takedown on Sports Illustrated, Carmelo Hayes was asked about his feud with Andrade culminating on the September 13th episode of WWE SmackDown, and he teased that it wasn't finished.

Andrade and Carmelo Hayes will continue their rivalry on the September 27 episode of WWE SmackDown. Andrade previously beat Hayes in the fifth match in their series on the September 13 episode. The following week,

On the first "SmackDown" on the USA Network, Carmelo Hayes & Andrade wrestled the fifth match in their series, with Andrade getting the win and a US title shot.

Andrade and Hayes continue their series, plus a number one contender’s match is set for next week’s SmackDown.
