The Tampa Bay Rays acquired outfielder Stuart Fairchild from the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday in a series of roster moves that also included placing Brandon Lowe back on the injured list.
The Phillies, who have been searching for relief pitching help throughout the season, have agreed to sign veteran reliever David Robertson, reports The Athletic. It's a deal for the rest of the season for $16 million, prorated for just the remainder of the Phillies' games, reports MLB.com, or roughly $6 million.
