Many current Spectrum internet customers got an automatic speed upgrade. New Spectrum customers can get internet as low as $30 a month when bundled.

Spectrum has made a series of announcements as part of its "customer commitment" which include free internet speed upgrades and new bundled pricing.

The rollout comes as Charter contends with slowing broadband customer growth, defections from the cable TV bundle, and a young, expanding mobile business.

Spectrum recently announced several upgrades for internet and TV customers. The provider is increasing internet speeds and offering additional entertainment options for people who have one of the company’s TV packages,

Charter Communications unveiled new pricing options and network upgrades this week for its customers using Spectrum as their internet provider. The company announced that Spectrum’s internet plans will now begin at $30 a month for 500 Mbps (instead of $50) when bundled and current customers will also have their speeds automatically increased for free to 400 and 600 Mbps.
