At least one eBay seller is asking $10,000 for their PlayStation 30th-anniversary PS5 Pro bundle.

September 26's pre-order process for the new PS5 Pro and the $1000 PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary bundle was a nightmare. People struggled to buy anything on PlayStation’s store, and those who got lucky are now promptly trying to flip the anniversary bundles on eBay.

Remember, the 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro bundle includes Sony’s supercharged system, as well as a DualSense Edge, DualSense, charging station, and vertical stand – all in PS1 livery. Sony flogged the bundle for $1,000 in the US and £960 in the UK, but as we mentioned previously, it’s clear it could have charged a lot more.

PS5 and PS5 Pro 30th anniversary scalpers are being mass reported to eBay after players decided to take matters into their own hands.

Mashable reached out to Sony to find out whether the company expects the PS5 Pro to sell out quickly at launch since initial availability is limited to one retailer, and if it had any plans to avoid inventory shortages. At the time of writing, we hadn't heard back.
