The Enugu State Boundary Committee has resolved the boundary dispute between Isienu-Amagunze and Akpugo Communities of Nkanu East and Nkanu West local government areas, respectively.

It's a setback for Democrats who had hoped for new, friendlier district boundary lines in the state as they attempt to win back control of the House next year.

Lisa Hunter, a state board member, questioned whether the board should approve adjusting boundary lines for the reasons requested. "I think this is a slippery slope for us to go down," Hunter said.
