Springhead Cricket Club in Oldham was left covered in broken glass and paint following the rampage on Thursday night.

Kieron Patterson, 36, who was born and raised in Springhead, is one of those upset. He said: “I have no problem with people celebrating Yorkshire Day and waving white rose flags.
