A man and woman are expected to survive after a domestic dispute Monday morning that erupted into a shooting outside of an elementary school in south Wichita, Wichita police chief Joe Sullivan said.

A shooting broke out in the neighborhood outside of the school, at 45th and Clarence, around 9:14 a.m., a police official said. Authorities are asking parents not to come to the school at this time. Parents will be notified of a time and place to do that later. The school is currently on lockdown.
