The RAHB report comes after a separate report from the the Canadian Real Estate Association, which showed sales in Hamilton-Burlington were down almost 25 per cent from February to March.

The average detached home price across the RAHB slipped from 11 per cent to $991,365, May to May, with apartment-style homes dropping three per cent to $638,009.

The Realtors Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported an 18.2 per cent drop in city sales compared to April 2022 with the average home price at around $806,809.
