Lynyrd Skynyrd has had a rough couple of days. Frontman Johnny Van Zant left the road to be with his ailing youngest daughter, leading to the cancellation of a string of shows. Then Van Zant’s bus driver ended up in the intensive care unit after getting into a scooter accident while on the way to buy a get-well card.

Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd announced the cancelation of its concert scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 29, at Sandia Resort & Casino.

AEG has announced the cancellation of four Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top performances, including two in Colorado. The cancellation will affect four appearances, including two in Colorado at Blue Arena in Loveland and Ford Amphitheater in Colorado Springs.

Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd canceled its concert scheduled for Tuesday evening at Anchorage’s Sullivan Arena. A message posted to the band’s social media accounts said “early this morning, Johnny Van Zant was informed his daughter must undergo emergency surgery. Johnny has asked all fans to pray for a successful procedure and recovery.”

Lynyrd Skynyrd singer Johnny Van Zant has left the tour to be with his daughter while they continue testing, diagnosis and treatment.
