Killed in the crash were Darlicia Smith and her son, M'Kye Smith. Darlicia Smith died at the scene, while the boy died early March 31.

According to the clerk of court’s office, Darlicia Jordan pleaded guilty to reckless homicide. The other woman charged, Tasha Williams, pleaded guilty to the same charge in October.
