Citi Field is scheduled to play host to a “one of a kind” All-Star game between two countries this fall, the Mets announced Monday. On Saturday, Nov. 15, Dominican Republic-born players will square off against Puerto Rico-born All-Stars in celebration of Caribbean baseball.
If the weekend series against the Cincinnati Reds didn’t already make it clear, the Mets will be looking for bullpen help at the trade deadline on July 31.
